Poetry Workshop
English Department organised a poetry workshop in order to target the areas our Year 11 students needed the most help with. Delivered by Jackson from AS Creatives, Year 11 took part in a 90-minute workshop that focused on personifying objects found in Romeo and Juliet. These ideas were then turned into some fantastic personification poems, allowing students to explore form, structure, and language in a really fun and abstract way. Overall, a great couple of days were had by all.
