CEO meets HRH
Dr Karen Roberts was honoured to meet with Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge, along with other MAT (Multi Academy Trust) leaders, to discuss pioneering work on the neuroscience underpinning how a caregiver’s behaviour is pivotal to childhood development and children’s future outcomes.
The event took place at Buckingham Palace and the group spoke about innovative research being carried out by the University of Oxford, centred around educating teenagers in science lessons about how early experiences shape brain development.
TKAT is proud to be part of the ‘Kindred Squared’ initiative (www.kindredsquared.org.uk) and honoured that the Duchess of Cambridge was involved. Our CEO Dr Karen Roberts believes it has the capacity to be a game-changer for all aspects of children’s, and adults’, learning, and has synergy with our meta curriculum project.
