Anti-Bullying Alliance - Gold AwardThe ABA provides expertise in relation to all forms of bullying between children and young people. The Anti-Bullying Alliance was established by the NSPCC and the National Children's Bureau in 2002 and is hosted by the National Children's Bureau. In 2023, Rainham School for Girls achieved the Gold Award for our commitment to anti-bullying. Along with our C.A.R.E values and with expert staff, we create a safe and kind space for all children to learn and grow. We have a team of Student led Anti-Bullying Ambassadors and are very proud of our school culture; children are supported and empowered to navigate their lives with confidence and compassion. |

National Nurture School AwardIn 2023, the school was awarded National Nurture School status for successfully implementing a whole-school nurturing culture, focusing on the emotional and social development of children alongside their academic learning. Awarded by NurtureUK, the NNSA requires schools to complete the National Nurturing Schools Programme, demonstrating high-quality nurturing practice through an assessment of standards in leadership, delivery, and stakeholder engagement. The award signifies a commitment to improving pupil well-being, behavior, and attendance, benefiting students, parents, and staff. |

Dog Mentor SchoolIn 2024 both of our Therapy dogs (Hugo and Eden) along with their owners, successfully passed their course to become accredited Dog Mentors. The primary goal of therapeutic intervention in our school is to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that fosters emotional resilience, enhances academic success, and equips students with the tools to manage stress, anxiety, and other challenges effectively. |

School Games Gold AwardFor the third year running the school has achieved the ‘GOLD’ award. The School Games Mark is a government-led award scheme. It celebrates schools' commitment to developing competitive sport within their school and community. RSG offers a huge range of clubs and takes part in many competitions; our own Sports Leaders take PE out into our community too! |

TKAT ACE Platinum AwardTKAT ACE is a pastoral programme developed by our TKAT Trust to support our disadvantaged children by providing them with regular 1:1 time with a tutor.The TKAT ACE Tutors work with the family and the child to overcome barriers and achieve the child’s own personal goals. We have a number of ACE Tutors at RSG and have seen a positive impact for our most disadvantaged children in both attendance, wellbeing and outcomes. We also have student ACE Ambassadors who provide excellent mentoring to their peers! |

Eco-School AwardIn 2024 we achieved an Eco-Schools Green Flag Award, an international accreditation for schools demonstrating excellence in environmental action and sustainability education. Operated globally by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) and managed in the UK by Keep Britain Tidy, schools can achieve this award by working through the Eco-Schools Seven Step programme. We have a group of Eco Ambassadors and a thriving gardening club, with two gardens nurtured by our students! |
