Josie - Paramedic

Josie graduated 2 years ago from university with a 1st class BSc(Hons) with the highest overall academic achievement and has now returned to the university of Hertfordshire to study for an MSc in advanced paramedic practice while still working full time as a paramedic for the London ambulance service.

Josie wrote this to her science teacher, "I really hope you and everyone else at RSG are keeping well. I wanted to let you know I am still incredibly grateful for all you taught me and the support you provided for my Chemistry A Level at RSG. Despite initially feeling disheartened with my results, the course content and skills I learned from you have helped tremendously at university, more than the academic grade would have - and they will continue to."

Current students can benefit from Josie's experience, as she has volunteered to come in to talk to students that are considering a career as a paramedic. We are very proud of her.
