🎄✨ Christmas Jumper Day SUCCESS! ✨🎄 Rainham School for Girls has once again shown what an incredible community it is! Staff and students came together in full festive spirit for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day — and thanks to everyone’s generosity, enthusiasm, and brilliantly bright jumpers, we raised a PHENOMENAL £1,316.00!!! 🎉🎉 A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, and helped make a difference to children who need it most. ❤️

✨ Bringing Learning to Life! ✨ Our A Level PE students took their nutrition knowledge out of the classroom today and into the kitchen! 👩‍🍳🔥👨‍🍳 Tasked with designing a meal to optimise the performance of a given athlete, students researched nutritional demands, selected performance-boosting ingredients, and then prepared a full dish tailored to their athlete’s needs. From endurance-fueling carb combinations to protein-packed recovery meals, every plate had a purpose — and the creativity (and taste!) was incredible. 🥗💪🍝 A fantastic example of applied learning and the perfect blend of sport science, strategy, and skill. Well done, everyone! 🙌

Last week, 50 members of the sixth form travelled to Bruges to sample the annual Christmas market and Wintergloed festival🎄⭐️ From a tour of the canal to ice skating, the students experienced a European Christmas as well as eating waffles, drinking hot chocolate, and doing their Christmas shopping for friends and family. Thank you to all of the students who went, you were a credit to the sixth form and the school🙌🏻🥰

✨ Year 7 School Trip Fun! ✨ This week week took our Year 7s to see the Snow White Panto, and they absolutely LOVED it! 🎭 Huge shout-out to the students for being brilliant company and to the staff who helped make the day run smoothly. 🍎👑 A perfect mix of chaos, comedy, and fairy-tale magic!

Reminder! 🌟 Tomorrow is Chirstmas Jumper TAG Day and students are invited to wear a festive Christmas jumper with clothes of their choice. 🧑‍🎄 This is a wonderful opportunity for our entire school community to get into the festive spirit while raising vital funds for a hugely worthwhile cause - Save the Children! Save the Children works tirelessly across the globe to support children in urgent need, providing them with healthcare, education, and protection. Donation 💰 We are asking for a voluntary donation of £2.00 from each participating student How to Donate: Students should bring their £2.00 donation to their Form Tutor or you can donate via our Just Giving using the link in our story! Year 12 A-Level chemists are officially tackling the tricky world of moles through practical investigation!🧐 This marks the start of their Practical Activity Group work, focusing on getting hands-on with those essential chemical calculations. It’s all about putting theory into practice, working accurately in the lab, and calculating moles accurately.🧪🥼

Our year 9 and 10’s played their first game of the season against The Howard School this week! Credit to the students who took part showcasing their fantastic plays throughout the match including some impressive 3 pointers on display 🏀

Our year 7 girls football team is the only Rainham School For Girls team to be left in our Kent schools cup competition ⚽️⭐️ They beat Tonbridge Grammar School 5-2. They have now progressed to the Quarter finals which will be played after christmas!!! ⚽️🥳🎁

Our Sixth Formers have been busy bringing Christmas cheer to Rainham Sixth as they decorated our Sixth Form tree and prepared the building for the festive season! 🌟 🎄 Meanwhile, our dedicated Year 13s are balancing celebrations with focus — working hard on their mock assessments and showing real perseverance and maturity.
