Welcome to Rainham School for Girls
C.A.R.E and Wellbeing
We pride ourselves on our excellent wraparound care.
“Rainham is a happy school. Pupils speak highly about the relationships with staff. Their health, including their mental health, and welfare and well-being are very well supported by the school. ” (Ofsted, 2022)
Yesterday at the Kent Streetdance Championships at Mote Park in Maidstone, some of our Year 7 students took part and placed 3rd in Kent for their age categories. 🏆 As this was their first time competing at the championships, this amazing achievement has successfully qualified them for the finals later this year. After months of training and dedication, we are incredibly proud of their achievement and wanted to share how brilliantly they performed under pressure. Well done girls! 👏✨

A massive shout-out to our incredible Year 10 students who have just returned from their work experience week! 🌟 We have been overwhelmed by the glowing feedback from employers across the community. Whether they were in offices, schools, workshops, or retail spaces, our students demonstrated exceptional professionalism, curiosity, and initiative. It’s been wonderful to see them step out of their comfort zones, develop new skills, and represent our school with such maturity. From tackling complex tasks to showing up with a positive “can-do” attitude, they have truly made us proud. A huge thank you to all the local businesses and mentors who hosted our students and provided such invaluable insights into the world of work. Well done, Year 10—you’ve shown exactly what you’re capable of! 👏💼✨ We would also like to extend our pride at the Year 10 students who were in school as normal this week. They applied themselves fantastically well and we are extremely proud of them too. #Year10 #WorkExperience #FutureLeaders #ProudSchool #CareerReady

Congratulations to Jessica, Violet and Abbigale who have been working hard on achieving their dreams! Excellence doesn’t happen by chance — it’s built through ambition, effort, and seizing every opportunity. ✨ Our Year 12 students are a powerful example of what high aspirations can achieve. Including a week-long residential at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble — to securing a place at Hertford College, University of Oxford Summer School, and taking on a curriculum enhancement programme at the University of Bath Summer School across a range of subjects… this is ambition in motion. These experiences go beyond the classroom — shaping thinkers, innovators, and future leaders. To those aiming high: keep going. The opportunities are there — and this is what it looks like to take them. #HighAchievers #Aspiration #SixthFormSuccess #FutureLeaders #SummerSchools AimHigh
