Congratulations Ashleigh - First Class law degree

"After leaving RSG 6th form, I went on to study Law as an undergraduate at Hertfordshire and I had the best time whilst doing so. I was so worried that I would struggle with the course or not find anyone to fit in with but these worries could not have been any further from reality.

I finished my degree in 2020 with first class honours and then went on to study my Masters in Law combined with the LPC (Legal Practice Course) at Hertfordshire over the 20/21 year, and have just finished that and waiting to hear back on my results.

Now I am hoping to put these qualifications to use and actually practice law in a law firm and so I am applying for training contracts all throughout the country in order to be a fully qualified solicitor.

As the first one in my family to ever go to university, I wanted to make them all proud and do well and thankfully, I managed to do that having got firsts in modules such as human rights law, medical law and family law as an undergraduate and modules such as personal injury, business law and property law whilst doing my Masters and LPC.

I’ve recently just had my undergraduate graduation as it was postponed due to Covid-19 and have my Masters graduation in December, but I am looking forward to finally getting out into the world and becoming a qualified solicitor within a law firm."
